Medieval Dynasty New Settlement on Meta Quest 2 - first impressions
9very formidable VR port. many things I never witnessed on Quest before: relatively large open world with plenty of grass, trees, detail and critters running around... it's not really apparent from 2D video, but it's map size feels grand and scale is very good. also runs very smooth, with AppSW but I barely see warping artifacts at edges in transparent textures...
In many ways very similar to Green Hell, but crafting interactions not as immersive, they priviledge practical interface. I don't think every item can be used terface. I don't think every item can be thrown, so didn't get to try those mechanics...
I start in sandbox and that was an error for I didn't even figure out where the notebook is, but had fun exploring the map at will for awhile, until a bear kills the fun... I then go to adventure mode and learn my ways for a bit...
