Medieval Engineers just released Update 0.4.15 (April Fools Update) that added the "Ultimate Tool for Chopping Trees Down".

Medieval Engineers April Fools Spoiler Below!

This April Fools Update added the "Ultimate Tool for Chopping Trees Down" as described in their release video. They mentioned that this "tool" would drop from Barbarians.

I jumped into Medieval Engineers and killed the first Barbarian to attack me. Aside from the two types of food dropped, he additionally dropped a Red Herring Fish. This fish, when equipped like an Axe, would chop trees down in one or two hits! The standard Stone Axe would take 5 or so.
