4Irish battle order. The balance of heavy spearmen, javelin throwers and gallowglasses. Cavalry mostly light, so use with caution to avoid casualties. Otherwise you risk to spend it in their first battle and the next two or three you may loose its advantages before their ranks are replenished.
The most important sector of this battle, the most dangerous for Irish because of enemy huskarles, was covered by the javelins concentration to deny huskarles their advantage. The tactics involves squad that blocks heavy enemy unit for time enough for missile units to inflict to it casualties enough for the blocking detachment to overwhelm the heavy attackers in the end. The next video will show why it is important and what huskarles can do without such a disadvantageous situation for them.
