this WR was made before the new dragonfire gate skip (DGS) was found. that skip was found in July-August 2020 and it saves 15 minutes. the old route before DGS was found is now a legacy category called "Any% (No DGS)".

make sure to share this video with others. i put a lot of time and effort into beating my 38:30 run.

beat the old WR by a whole minute. new 100% consistent method i forged for pools of the ancient dead made this run possible. plus found new methods for many skips that are more consistent.

disappointingly after this run i checked the recording and there was no sound. i wasn't able to beat this run (the best i managed was 1 second slower) before the remaster release, so this run with the game music added over the top will have to do. you get to hear parts of the songs that you wouldn't normally as a bonus, and they sync very well.
