I've always wanted to complete this game legitimately, about half of these levels I don't remember playing at all, and a few I only remember playing with cheats on.

The setting for the sequel is a Victorian London, and it fits that theme pretty well. The weapons on the whole reflect this change, as do the enemies, and setting.
The sequel has a lot more puzzle orientated challenges, including using the Dan-hand which is unlocked later.

The story follows Lord Palethorn and his minions searching for Zarok's Spellbook and causing havoc throughout London.

The first level is about the same lengthwise as MediEvil I's Graveyard.
Keys have replaced the Runes of the original, although a lot of the time areas will open up after defeating certain groups of enemies, activating levers/pressure plates or solving other puzzles, instead of relying on primarily keys.
The Museum is a tutorial level, practically.
You'll learn later in the level that you need to interact with objects to solve puzzles and progress.
It's usually fairly straightforward, and here it's putting a cannonball in the cannon and lighting a torch then swiping at it.

The boss, Tyrannosaurus Wrecks basically teaches you about melee and ranged combat.
The first phase involves a lot of dodging and then running up its tail to strike a weak point with your sword, whereas the second form flies and takes place on the upper level.
You'll use your gun to shoot it when it freezes in the centre.
The reward for beating it is the first Life Bottle, and the Chalice gives you a Cane Stick.

The Cane Stick has a better charge attack than the sword, but the range and general use is very finnicky (more like a rapier) in comparison to the encompassing slashes of the sword.
