Like I said last time, this was going to be the make-or-break session. And while it wasn't exactly "Mission Accomplished", having more time at my disposal next time might just allow me to wrap everything up perfectly. Worst case scenario, I'll just have to do a final wrap-up stream the following Sunday... but I'm hoping it doesn't come to that. But considering what I've got left on my plate to achieve a proper 100% save file, well, let's just say I'm not even 90% confident that I'll succeed at this point.

World 3 is where I spent the bulk of my time during this stream. Once again, my theory that the worlds I left mostly unscoured would be easier to navigate ended up ringing fairly true. I did need to resort to the guide to track down the last few items, but on the plus side, I'm finally getting the hang of the tracking tonic. Having much more health also managed to make the boss fight way easier -- and I'm hoping the same can be said for the rest of the game's bosses. I *did* end up forgetting to track down the Pirate Treasure in World 3, but I'll go back for it after I finish up World 4 next time.

I also managed to finish grabbing stuff in the Hub World. That nabbed me another health extender, which is nice -- but doing so also caused a weird bug where the tenth hit point never appeared... while the noise signifying it had been unlocked kept playing on loop. Fortunately, reloading my save fixed everything. I had originally intended to clear out the last remaining collectibles in Hivory Towers last, but considering how long I spent in the swamp, I just wanted to make sure I could wrap up "two areas" this time. Sure, it's technically a cheat, but who cares?

I did manage to get a head-start on World 4 this time before calling it quits. And with 10 Pagies, the Health Extender and the Secret Treasure left, hopefully it shouldn't eat up too much time. I figure that if I manage to finish World 5 by 2AM next time, I'll push through to the end... regardless of how long it takes. Otherwise, I guess I'll be going into overtime next week. Fortunately, my first Halloween game is going to be shorter than I expected, so if I play my cards right, I might be able to sneak in another bonus game or two before I move onto my seasonal tradition.
