Meet Espeon: My First Shiny Pokémon! 😁 Surprise Shiny Hunting Reaction | Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Hey trainers, shiny hunting novice Jeff here (solo and sleepy this time), welcoming you to an unexpectedly early gameplay clip of my reaction to catching my first ever shiny Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet! As some of the viewers are aware, we are currently trying to complete the Paldean Pokédex in Pokémon Scarlet. We're doing this so that we can get the Shiny Charm and begin shiny hunting ahead of the new Teal Mask DLC coming out. Normally, I stream everything that I do in the game. However, after I heard about how hard the recent Mewtwo Terra raid event is, I decided to take some time offstream to grind up my offensive Mew build so that I could successfully catch one in a future stream.
So anyways, I was up way too late Friday night, just completely zoned out while EV-training my Mew on Chanseys in Area Zero, when all of a sudden I stumbled across a shiny Pokémon! I had only been playing for 90 minutes; are they supposed to be that easy to find?? Just my luck that I would find a SHINY ESPEON (my favorite Eeevee evolution) the ONE TIME I was offstream. Luckily, I had the wherewithal to hit record and get my reaction, and so now I'm sharing this special moment with you!
This is my first Shiny Pokémon, and while I wasn't expecting it to happen until after I'd completed the Pokédex and started streaming Shiny hunts, I'm very glad it was a shiny Espeon. Also, I'm probably now just going to go live any time I open the game, no matter how boring I think what I'm doing is, because you never know what's going to pop up while you're playing. Lesson learned!
