v0.37 Major Changes:
● This patch introduces custom weapon upgrading - Now instead of applying tree sap and teeth to your weapon and having the items randomly placed, you are able to control completely where items go to make the weapon look how you like.
● New craft recipe: Weak spear (stick x2)
● New fire, blood and snow effects!
● New snow particle effects added for mountain/snow area
● Weather system now shows snow particles instead of rain if player is in snow area
● Rock fences can now be used as support for floors and roofs !
● Audio - added squeal to burning babies when they die
● Filled Waterskin now holds up to 2 full thirst replenishment and drinking from it is now based on exact amount so you can replenish as often as wanted without worrying of wasted amount
● Added another shelf to medicine cabinet
● New art added: Dead lawyers 1 body, 2 heads. Court papers, suitcase etc
● New art added: Timmy crayons
● New magazine/story item pick up added!
● The Door revealed last patch has had improved textures added.
● Improved sinkhole cave door textures
● Increased speed/aggressiveness of cowman mutant
● Audio - Added waterfall sounds to waterfalls in sinkhole
● Armsy now makes sound when detecting player presence nearby

What is The Forest?
The Forest is an open world survival horror game currently in development for PC. - Build, explore, survive in this terrifying first person survival horror simulator. The world - Enter a living, breathing forest with changing weather patterns, plants that grow and die. Tides that roll in and out with the day/night cycle. Below ground explore a vast network of caves and underground lakes.
Complete player freedom - Chop down trees to build a camp, or start a fire to keep warm. Scavenge food to keep yourself from starving. Find and plant seeds to grow food. Build a small shelter or a large ocean side fortress. decorate your home with found items. Lay traps and defenses to keep a safe perimeter.
Gameplay - Explore and build during the day. Defend your base at night. Craft weapons and tools.Bunker down during the evening or bring the fight directly to the enemy. Use stealth to evade enemies, or engage them directly with crude weapons built from sticks and stones.
A new type of open world, survival horror experience, Defend yourself against a clan of genetic mutant enemies that have beliefs, families and morals and that appear almost human.
