As the British Army drives to increase reservist numbers to 30,000 by 2019, the Royal Army Physical Training Corps (RAPTC) are doing their bit. Becoming a Physical Training Instructor (PTI) is probably not the most obvious choice for a civilian but the cap badge now proudly boasts the first ever reserve soldier to successfully complete the gruelling selection course. And, as Cath Brazier found out, that's not the only remarkable thing about Sgt Dave Snowling.
