Mega Man's 1st Jump to 3D, this is an Action-RPG, as oppose to the original games, which were 2D side-scrolling platformers. This series made the transition to 3D pretty well.

The world is covered in water with only a few small patches of land. People search for refractors, gems that are a source of energy, to live. That's what Mega Man does is search for these refractors. The story is how you crash on an island and must search for one big enough to power your airship.

I highly recommend it, is one of the few RPGs (action-RPG) on the N64. Though it doesn't take long to beat if you know what you are doing.
