I think this is the only level that has difficult platforming that we expect to see in Wily Stages, there are bits with time bombs and some Gorithree enemies scattered in tricky spots and a few difficult jumps too.
Bass is the first boss of this level and he's an easy fight, the most dangerous attack is probably the energy rain, but you can easily dodge that since the projectiles don't linger on the ground to damage you.
Bass can also use a sweeping laser from one side to the other half of the screen or just get on the ground and shoot you (signalized by faint charge lines).
The last boss of this stage is another familiar face from Mega Man and Bass. And honestly, a buster only fight here is very tedious. You can sneak in at best four pellets before the core closes itself and retreats.
From what I've tested the dismantle attack happens far more often if you move away from the boss before it splits. If you stay close to the boss it'll most likely use the jelly wave, the quick drain or even the spike one.
No, but seriously, Flash Bomb and Thunder Claw this thing and you'll finish this fight in two, three cycles top.
Sidenote: Still miffed that there isn't a "regular" Bass fight like we got in Mega Man 7...
