This is video #16 in my playthrough of Mega Man IV. In the third stage of Skull Castle, Mega Man goes through a fairly short area to arrive in an area with teleporters. Oh dear, the robot masters are back! Be sure to conserve the Pharaoh Shot, Ring Boomerang, and Drill Bombs.
When all eight robot masters are re-defeated, another teleporter appears (time index 7:01). On the other side, Dr. Wily appears in one of his many flying machines. This one is reminiscent of the boss of Stage 5 of Wily's castle in Mega Man II. The first round is easy. If Mega Man stands close, the big fireballs will not reach him. The Ring Boomerang is quite useful.
When the monstrous device's health is depleted, its skull-like face plate is blown off, and Mega Man can see Dr. Wily at the controls. Now, the aim is to use Drill Bombs on the turquoise light between his cockpit and the fireball cannon. Just before the Drill Bomb strikes, you have to tap B again to make it explode and damage the ship.
When the ship is destroyed, guess what: Wily rockets off in an escape capsule!
