Mega Man IV [NES] Playthrough #07, Bright Man
This is video #07 in my playthrough of Mega Man IV. Mega Man goes through his sixth stage, Bright Man's. I like the background music in this area. Partway through this stage, you can get an Energy Tank and an extra life, but to get back, you need to either use the Rush Jet or death-warp. When crossing the spikes on the grasshopper robots, you have a little control over how far the grasshoppers jump by where you stand on their backs.
The final stretch of this stage is definitely the most challenging, as you have to jump from one platform along a semicircular track to another. It is tempting to shoot down the light bulb enemies, but doing this will turn out the light. Also, the lifts and platforms make it a challenge to simply jet across on the Rush Jet.
At the end of the stage (time index 3:41), Mega Man finds the bright guy himself, Bright Man. Bright Man will freeze Mega Man with his Flash Stopper, then either shoot at him or jump at him. The jump attack really hurts. The Rain Flush is great here; not only does it do a lot of damage, there is also no need to aim it.
After putting Bright Man's light out, Mega Man will appropriate his Flash Stopper.
