I just learned something from this stage: I am bad at precise platforming. Isn't life grand?
...no, seriously, i really advise you to stay away from this stage until later (especially wait until you obtain the Guts Arm/Super Arm...you'll see why later). This stage is really demanding on platforming, and has some of the most annoying enemies you can encounter so far.
It's strange on how I even had trouble on the first portion of the stage because of those certain ground enemies (the ones you can't hit with the normal buster by normal means). If you are having much trouble with those enemies, you can use the Cut Blade/Rolling Cutter to get rid of those pests (it's definitely a good way to preserve your health, and the Cut Blade isn't that expensive in use). The other enemy to look out for is one that appears in groups that appears from above and below, and will shoot at you as soon as you are within range. If you need to, wait for them to come to you and take them down as quick as possible (don't resort to anything than a normal buster unless it's effective and you don't mind using up the energy).
There are certain places as well where precise platforming is required. Be patient with these sections when needed, and don't take unnecessary risks.
About halfway through the stage, you will notice a odd powerup hiding behind 3 blocks that looks interact-able. This is the time to use the Guts Arm/Super Arm to get the three blocks out of the way, making a path to the powerup. The powerup is called the Magnet Beam, which will have much great use later on.
There is yet another one of those big robots to worry about near the gate to Elec Man's lair, and it's quite tricky to avoid without getting hit.
As for Elec Man himself...he hits like a truck. His pattern is simple: He goes at you while firing a wave of electricity at you. However, he can potentially kill you with three shots from this electricity. To save yourself a lot of trouble in this Boss fight, use the Cut Blade/Rolling Cutter on him, as that is his weakness. You'll need precise dodging abilities if you wish to take him on without his weakness, otherwise.
You will obtain the Elec Beam/Thunder Beam when you defeat this Boss.
