Mega Man V (Game Boy) Pt. 1: Killer Robots From Outer Space
WARNING: This video is Rated R for...Robotic!
It's that time of year again, as Reed and I tackle another classic Mega Man game! It's my turn up to bat, so I chose what is arguably my second favorite Mega Man game of all time, one I owned as a kid, Mega Man 5 on Game Boy! Unlike the other GB Mega Man games, this one was 100% original, and even very unique, as it's the only Mega Man game out there, including the X games, that breaks with their general naming conventions of robot masters being called "____ Man" or "Adjective Animal".
This time around, future Earth is being invaded by "Stardroids", robots form outer space, who are made of tougher stuff, so Dr. Light has to upgrade Mega Man's buster accordingly. Now Mega Man has the "Mega Arm", which means the buster basically shoots out a big fist, which later in the game has multiple cool uses. The Stardroids themselves are named after the nine planets of our solar system, and overall, the game has excellent graphics and a rockin' soundtrack!
So let's fire up the engines, and see if I can save the world from the Robot Menace, once again.
