Some spots have mines that will explode after a few moments when stepped on. Descend and a stegosaurus will release needles from its shell. Descend some more and platforms will appear from the hatches on the floor that will try to lure you to the spikes above. Defeat some hopper cannons and collect some P-chips as you descend. At the next section with spikes, monkeys will throw sharp curves after jumping. A snowball cannon will shoot snowballs, so when the platforms appear, aim for the eyes. Once the snowball cannon is gone, descend a few floors, but watch for spikes. You’ll next encounter a wheel bot that will spin and release a pellet. Climb some ladders and a rocket will fly with a parachute. Defeating a rocket will cause it to explode, so be sure to stay back. Descend some more and you’ll battle against another snowball cannon. Defeat it and continue with the path ahead. Go through the cap doors and you’ll battle against Mars. Mars will shoot missiles and throw smaller rockets. Use the Salt Water to inflict more damage on the boss. After defeating this boss, you’ll receive the Photon Missile weapon.
