Mega Man X8 Full Game Run Pt. 1
Now we reach the final Mega Man X game… and it’s one of the most underrated Mega Man X games ever. Why? Because X8 really tanked the series and when X8 came out, not many people got to play it.
Mega Man X8 came out in 2004 but surprisingly is that it came out in US first then Japan. Japan gets props due to the fact it had an awesome theme called Wild Fang. X8’s plot is that the Maverick Hunters X, Zero and Axl must now contend with Sigma and his forces once again after Lumine gets kidnapped by Vile. Yes. Vile is back aka Vile V.
There is a lot of good in Mega Man X8 such as improved voice acting. Yep. X, Zero and Axl sound way better. Not only that but they improved the 2-person team by including a Team Up attack called the Dual Attack. This can be beneficial if you want to deliver the final blow in the best way possible. Oh and the game also introduces Metals and you use them to upgrade your three heroes. Oh and we get new Navigators. Alia isn’t the only one you can rely on. You have two others: Layer and Palette. Layer helps when it comes to boss battles while Palette helps with finding alternate routes to get extra items.
That’s a lot for a big improvement. Plus the game is mostly 2.5D and they actually got it right in the game. This I approve.
Today here I will take on the opening stage Noah’s Park and the first maverick Bamboo Pandamonium. We will take down two more Mavericks in Part 2.
