Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 (XBONE) | MMX5 Final Stages w/ Past Stages (Zero / Normal)
Part 9 - Mega Man X5 (Zero / Normal difficulty) playthroughs. (Xbox One S)
Once again, I made it to the final stage, this time after beating all 8 bosses and earned their new abilities. But I could proceed to the last stages, I decide to go back several past stages, which I forgot to added with my Spike Rosered stage gameplay from last weekends, to gather some leftover items for Zero, while the rest of them were X only, due to certain armors you need to be completed.
The first 15 minutes will be a while to wait, but if you want to skip all of that to the start of the Final Stages, the use this shortcut instead, [0:16:12]. Go ahead, I don't mind anyhow.
0:16:12~0:23:45 - Final Stages Part 1
Still the worse stage of the four parts Final Stage... This is a MM2 Quickman references right here, you've gotta be fast enough to run through a whole bunch of deadly laser beams... Luckily, Zero also the time freeze move, Dark Hold, but I save it for the right moment to use it last. You'll also need a Virus Buster part equipped cause there'll be a Zero virus clone roaming across the stage, then charge toward you. Just be careful NOT to get touch those things...
The boss to this part is a familiar foe from the past generation of the Megaman series, the Black Devil. This boss fight is ridiculously hard, even on normal... It's the same as in the original one, but now for harder on its highest levels... Especially it'll kill you instantly by just one touch on Xtreme difficulty...! (What the heck, man!!?...)
0:24:07~0:28:55 - Final Stages Part 2
After finally reaching through that annoying first part, now you are in another references stage. This time, it'll be from the Sigma Fortress stage since the first Mega Man X game on the SNES. (only the beginning half though...)
The boss for this second part is another familiar boss from the first Mega Man X, the huge wall machine, Lamba Mamba I think... Just like the Black Devil in the previous one, this one is also ridiculous too, just only maybe a little bit easier than the other one if you know its attack patterns. It'll have three different colored eyes and a center part to beat it. Just be aware for the center one as it'll close up its corner walls on you from each sides, not to also mention it'll also move spikes creeping out of its wall, which makes you safe zones more difficult than usual... For Zero, just keep using the aerial Crescent Slash as it'll dealt more damages and even erase those shots too.
0:29:16~0:37:34 - Final Stages Part 3
After passing the other two stages, now this one will be a bit easier than the last two, if you watch your surroundings and have some certain parts equipped. Unexpectedly, I found a hidden capsule somewhere in this same level. It was supposedly meant for X, but I guess even Zero can use it to upgrade himself as well. He still can't use armors like X did, but he did changed his overall color appearances to black. Its said that he can have both his attack power & defense increase more than originally. So this one could be very useful for some difficulty parts of the game, maybe even Xtreme difficulty if you use the code correctly.
Once again, the famous decisive battle of both X & Zero of this game, but this time I'm playing as Zero against X. Fighting against X is like how you play as X in this game, but equipped with the Ultimate Armor. He'll attack you with a charge shot each, which is easily to dodge it if carefully watch. He'll also attack you with a few charged weapon attacks from the previous Mega Man X4, like Soul Body for example.
0:37:46~1:09:02 - Final Stages Part 4
Yet again, the final fourth part of the Final Stages, which means you'll be facing against all of the past 8 bosses you've defeated before or not later in this stage. This time like before in my X playthroughs, the boss levels will be higher than before, like an insanely around Lv.96, even if using their weakness won't be useful that much as the damages doesn't do much, so you'll may be sticking with regular attacks if possible. Be sure to pick a life recovery items at the center each times you've battle against a boss, so you can both restore your life and fill your sub tanks a little each. You may wants to save both of them for later.
After dealing with all 8 bosses, get the last two capsules for last minutes recovery and refills, then step inside the golden transporter. After passing through the last horde of enemies, getting for the last fight against Sigma. This is a good reason why you need to have both sub tanks filled already.
The first Sigma form will be like fighting against his first form in the first Mega Man X game, but without his blade this time. When you're climbing up the walls, he'll dash up toward you with a wall jump each time, then descend when you've drop back down.
The second form is the toughest one of them all, fighting against a gigantic form with two huge spiked fists. Attack his forehead with a crescent slash, even an double.
