Mega Man X - (Part 2) - Maverick Hunters 5-8
We're back on the blue bomber! I hope you enjoyed my video on the first four Maverick Hunters for 'Mega Man X'. Please note that any heart or sub tanks that require me to return to a stage, will be done in a separate video.
Thankfully, I was at least able to grab all the equipment upgrades along the way. With of course, the exception of the 'Hadouken'. I plan to include the equipment upgrades in the separate video as well and then cap it all off with the Hadouken. So, it's day is coming!
But before that, we still got some gamin' to do!
MEGA MAN X - (PART 2) - MAVERICK HUNTERS 5-8
So this video will take us through the back half of the Maverick Hunters. This go around, we're dealing with:
5) Boomer Kuwanger - Use Launch Torpedoes
6) Sting Chameleon - Use Boomerang Cutter
7) Storm Eagle - Use Chameleon Sting
8) Flame Mammoth - Use Storm Tornado
Except for Boomer Kuwanger's stage, I pick-up collectibles in every other one. The Heart Tank in his stage is just too annoying to reach with just a dash jump.
Sting Chameleon's stage has the Body Armor upgrade. However, we can't grab the Heart Tank here yet, as it requires the Helmet Upgrade.
Storm Eagle's stage has all three collectibles. The Helmet Upgrade is located towards the end. There's a Sub Tank around the middle and the Heart Tank is located at the beginning. I totally missed it! Oh well, it will be grabbed soon enough.
Flame Mammoth's stage is definitely one of the toughest. The Mega Buster upgrade is located here and it requires you to use the Helmet Upgrade in order to reach it. You really only have one shot at doing this right. If you destroy even one block and then slip, you'll have no way of reaching that wall now.
There's also a heart tank and sub tank located here, but these are much easier to located. We'll take a pause here and backtrack to collect everything we've missed.
After that, the next stop is Sigma's Fortress!
