After defeating all the Eight Robot Masters, now X will head to the X-Hunter Stage to put an end ot the evil plans of the X-Hunters and delay them to their next move while Dr. Cain is trying to reactivave Zero.
The first section of the X-Hunter Stage is very dangerous. Crushing walls, spikes and enemies everywhere. The boss of the stage is Violen, but this time, X's fight against him is a little bit different. His room is equipped with small platform blocks that Violen will change the position of from time to time; the blocks can work in X favor on occasion, as they will sometime block the morning star, and sometimes not. But, at the end, Violen is completely destroyed this time.
