Time for one of my favorite entries in the X Series! Notorious for it's horrible voice acting,but first in the series to have a story mode for both X and Zero. I'll be doing both,but we'll go with good ol' X 1st. The Repliforce has launched an attack on the Sky Lagoon,and X has been sent in to stop them. Usual intro stages rule apply here,just to get you used to the controls and such. You'll be attacked by a dragon in the first area,just blast open the doors and get away from it. When you reach the central core,Dragoon will tell you the place is going critical,and falling out of the sky! So many people killed from that. Watch that you don't get crushed like i did,and for spike things popping out to attack. At the end of the area you'll face the Dragon robot for real. It'll try to swipe at you with it's claws and fire beams from it's mouth,keep moving when it goes airborne. The Colonel of the Repliforce appears after it's gone,and claims it wasn't his armies' fault for this. He refuses to throw down his weapons though,and X labels them Mavericks.
