Part II

Individual Boss Comments:

Crescent Grizzly - I just can't get over how they decided to make him easy. He spends a solid 40 seconds throwing slow moving projectiles, then transitions into making Zero wait for his very telegraphed counter attack. After that doesn't work, he goes back to the slow moving projectiles. Genius

Mattrex - Fuck whatever his Japanese name is, Mattrex is too awesome to pass up using. I always look forward to fighting this fucking lunatic. And when I say lunatic I mean it, how else would you describe a boss whose primary ways of fighting you are arson and tossing himself across the fucking room? His ramming attack is unpredictable and when he follows it up with ground fire, which is annoying to track? Lots of screaming and trust me it's not coming from him. His second phase is the worst. Here he can air ram, ground ram, ground fire, or air fire with little warning. Once his third phase kicks in things calm down a bit, but it can still be tough when you're trying to not flip the fuck out and piss your pants from the first and second phases.

Dynamo, Round 2 - Yknow, his giga attack might have actually been a threat if it didn't have such horrible fucking hit detection. The first set of pillar's direction is pretty tough to get right, but when you have literally a solid half a second to gauge the safe spots and move to a safe position while you're standing in the fucking pillar itself, it kinda removes the threat.

Dark Necrobat - Fuck do you want me to say about this guy?

Volt Kraken - This battle is a blast, and it's also a complete pain. He's the hardest of the 8 by far, and it all begins as soon as his first phase, where he overloads the damn screen with electric blasts that are only really tolerable because they barely have a hitbox. Then he starts tailing you, and the fun really begins. This is annoying enough on it's own, but when he combines it with electrical blocks that can harm you, and his ability to make the ENTIRE FLOOR a hazard, things can get hairy real fast.
Once he starts using his desperation attack, you can add trying to react to when he suddenly zooms at a breakneck speed into position for it to the list of things you're trying to keep track of. The attack itself isn't that hard to dodge, horizontally at least. The vertical version? Fuck it.
This is bad enough on its own, but when Adler IMMEDIATELY begins moving again after finishing the attack, by which point you're still getting over the fact that it's this far into the battle and you still haven't shit your pants yet, getting caught by him is all too easy. This battle almost feels like a more cramped version of Infinity Mijinion, although with a fuckton less reliance on having Jesus and his powers of good luck on your side.

Tracks used:
DukeLukeProd - Cotton
Aphex Twin - Yellow Calx
Alice Mako - Space Elevator
