I absolutely loathe some of the level design choices in this game. The ice section with the randomly falling blocks that can drop in a pattern that's an automatic death is a massive fail in my book, and that wasn't even the worst part of that level! That "miniboss" in the fire stage is entirely awful as well. And then there's the maverick that I absolutely could not figure out how to fight. I'm not even talking about the special side boss (I don't know if High Max was optional or not, but I did defeat him), but one of the 8 starting bots! And High Max was... honestly, the challenge would have been better if I could have at least used the buster shot to damage him. Being able to "buster only" is a fun challenge in most Mega Man games, but not here. Same with trying to avoid all damage. That's not happening, there's way too many areas where enemies are unavoidable. This game is a mess, and it's wearing at me to play it. -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/the_nametag
