A year has passed after Copy X's defeat and Zero has split ways from Ciel and the Resistance, but a year of constant fighting has taken it's toll on him. Besides being in a highly damaged state all this fighting has lost meaning to Zero and the only way to regain a purpose is to find the Resistance again and we'll do just that in Mega Man Zero 2!
