I was worried about this, today's main game was pretty short. I didn't grind the second health bar (maybe should have) until after. And I still only died once to the end boss, because it's designed for you to be a lot weaker. Yea, this game LETS you power up - at the penalty of your score - but you're not really supposed to. You're supposed to challenge yourself. And I'd be more inclined to do that if I had the chance to actually replay areas, get the elves, not forcing a full reload save, etc. That is off-putting to me.

The game's also a little more linear than I'd like, you do get choices of what missions to accept later, but you have to unlock the later ones etc., and still have things thrown at you at specific areas. Instead of the freedom to choose any level any time. Oh well. It's rough around the edges, but it IS a good game. And I can't wait to try the rest. -- Watch live at   / the_nametag
