Part 2. This was hands down the easiest of the Mega Man Zero/ZX series. But, the ending difficulty kinda comes out of nowhere to punch you right in the face. My quibble with the first game is pretty much gone, since the map system is way more improved and there really isn't much confusion going around the environments. The junkyard is the only area I would say had a confusing design and I definitely spent a while there. Most areas were fairly short and straight forward accompanied by okay to pretty great tracks. Arctic Ice Floe had a pretty chill and memorable track. The boss designs were once again really fun and to top it off you actually get to use the bosses themselves as powers, which is pretty doggone neat. I spent way too long on the final level, but once I figured out an easy way through I took care of things. The final boss was a bit confusing with no health bar in the first phase and a shield in the second. I will say that overall it was a great experience. I like that they also added quest markers on the NPCs to help indicate if they had one or not, which is a nice QoL change. Enjoy another blind playthrough. Also, screw Floating Ruins.
