Megabots was an action strategy game published by Neosoft in 1986 for the Apple ][. The player needs to locate the hidden power source at each of the four levels in order to win the game. There are other robots in the grid that are either friendly or hostile and they may provide hints or lies about the location of the power source.

I hacked the game so that my power will be refilled once it hits zero. The game is written in BASIC and you can see the code in the DROIDS file. Have fun :)
