Picnic Paranoia (https://www.mobygames.com/game/apple2/picnic-paranoia) was an action game published by Synapse software in 1982 for the Apple ][. You may notice that the game loads extremely fast. Based on 4AM's analysis (link below), that is because the game uses an optimized 6x2 decoder that essentially encodes the data read from disk while the disk is still spinning, allowing it to read the whole track in one go. The game also uses spiral track to store partial data at half track interval, making it very difficult to be copied.
