Megalith features 2v2 multiplayer action with mechanics that expand genre conventions. Players are able to summon powerful Super Minions (by raising both hands when the Fist Icon is full) and revive fallen teammates (by holding your hand inside the dead teammate’s death orb). Mastering these mechanics allow for unique opportunities for strategy and teamplay. We spent a huge amount of time polishing each Titan’s mechanics in VR to create a sandbox arena that is chock full of surprises and highly re-playable.
Dedicated Servers
Our game is powered by dedicated servers to provide high quality and stable sessions for the best multiplayer experience possible, alleviating the problems associated with player hosted games (host dropping, bandwidth dependent on host location/internet speed).
Drop In Drop Out Bots
Megalith’s multiplayer features Drop In/Drop Out bots to ensure matches consistently begin within minutes. Players that join late replace bots mid match, and leavers are immediately swapped with bots.
Party System
Playing Megalith with friends is possible through the PS4 party interface. Players form a party and the Party Leader launches the Matchmaking in game which will automatically invite all party members to the session. Players can also join the matches of their friends via “Join Session” on the PS4 interface.
Future
A new map has been handed off by design to art and is coming soon. The map in progress will be in a different setting and have varied MOBA gameplay. We also have a seventh Titan that is finished and will be released soon.
