MegaMan 11 - 11. Wily Machine 11 perfect battle
15Wily is appropriately the hardest boss in the game. The fight goes in our phases: two for Wily Machine and two for Wily Capsule.
Wily Machine 11 takes cues from WM10 by making you jump on missiles, this time however you also need to do so to even reach its weak spot. During the first phase it shoots missiles in two patterns. First one allows you to score two hits, the second one allows only one. Second pattern also has three missiles falling from above and another three flying straight at you (note that they actually lock on to your current height.
At half HP, Wily Machine moves on to phase two. It puts two gears on the ground to move the conveyor belt towards it. Wily in addition to new two patterns of missiles, Wily also starts to shoot two rotating spheres, simmilar to those of WM1. Once you destroy the Machine, we move on to the main even.
Third phase is the fight with Wily Capsule and this is the hardest part of the fight, despite being the least annoying capsule in the series. Capsule has two primary attacks: Four gears that fly in a rotating square pattern and those same four gears that lock on to you and ly at you one after the other. There are two ways to deal with them: destroy some gears to get yourself more moving space or baiting them to fly in such a way that allows you to dodge them completely. The absolute worst thing that can happen is if Wily uses lock-on gears on 12 o'clock position, as it leaves you with the least amount of space.
Wily Capsule also has both Power and Speed gear modes, and ironically you want Wily to spam them (and thankfully he often does) as they are easy to dodge.
Once the Capsule is on its last legs, Wily activates Double Gear Mode, which is actually the easiest part of the fight. Note that the "hammers" Wily has in this phase can be permanently destroyed (and once you destroy one of them Wily will get stunned for a second). If you see Wily position himself on the sides, I suggest focusing on evasion to avoid the unfortunate accident of getting ran over by the boss because you didn't dodge in time (I literally had around 10 of my attempts ruined like that with Wily having 1 HP left).
