Playing through each of the megaman games has been a really fun time! but it all has to start getting bad at some point right?

The X series was amazing till X4 - X5 was disappointing and it was downhill from there. Does the original series have the same trend?

Megaman 5 was fun but god was it worse than 4 - the bosses felt very plain and the boss weapons were not nearly as good or useful as megaman 4.
