Megaman 8 - Finale "Wily's Fortress: Stage 3 & 4"
Probably should've done each stage in a separate video but I didn't want to wait another video to finish this playthrough off so....here's the super sized final episode of Megaman 8 containing both the last 2 Wily Fortress stages.
Stage 3 of Wily's Fortress is a bit more dangerous than the previous stage but not too bad in terms of difficulty. There's a large amount of pits by the end of the level that really require you to commit to your jumps. This stage also has two bosses with the first one being Bass. (Actually forgot you fight him in this game.) Compared to the fight that was in Megaman 7 this one is a breather. Once you learn how you're supposed to avoid his attacks he becomes kind of pathetic. The second boss of the level is no other then Green Devil and he's a bit of step up compared to the fight in Megaman & Bass as he does a bit more then what you may be use to from the Devil Robots. He's also very repetitive to fight so whatever it takes to reveal the eye and dispose of him quickly...
Well, guess what time it is? That's right...it's that one stage that's in almost all the Megaman games, the boss refight stage. This one is even more straight to the point compared to the other games...which I like. No need to talk about the level so let's go straight to the Dr. Wily fight. I can't recall a single Dr. Wily fight that I actually like. Seriously they're just all so irritating in a way. Anyways, the first form isn't too bad but it can get a bit chaotic with having to stop Wily's machine from shooting it's beam while avoiding it's attacks. The second part of the fight is where things start to get annoying. Wily's Capsule has a total of four attacks which he'll do randomly and he'll either do it after each hit or after short amount of time. (One of them being those orbs from Megaman 7 capsule Wily fight!) You basically have to be prepared to avoid his attacks the second you attack them which I wasn't always...
Conclusion: Well, this game is finally finished! It probably should've been finished awhile ago but haven't been able to record all too much lately. Anyways, it was really fun playing this again. This game may have had it's flaws like bad voice acting and really underwhelming final stages but it's a great game in my opinion. (Maybe a few other flaws I'm forgetting.) Kind of wish I would've stayed consistent with the doing no death runs of the stages but a few of them I just got tired of replaying. Well, thanks for watching and see you on my next project!
