With Frostman down, it's time to look to the skies as we head for the domain of Tenguman! This level is a bit of an oddity between the Playstation and Sega Saturn versions, as for some reason, it has two completely different stage themes. No other level has this treatment as far as I know, so...what's the point in doing it here?

Tenguman himself isn't too bad. He'll try to toss you into the pits in his arena every now and then, but his Kamaitachi attack is fairly easy to avoid if you place yourself properly. His main weapon, the Tornado Hold, is both decently powerful and a good utility weapon! It's essentially the replacement for the Rush Coil and should see a fair bit of use in a few stages.

We also visit Dr. Light's Lab for the first time, which functions as the shop! This is why there are large bolts sitting around in each stage. Unfortunately, there are a limited number of things you can buy, so choose carefully!
