After the advancements in graphics with the previous Megaman titles, Capcom decided with Megaman 9 to take a page from the fan games on the internet and bring Megaman back to basics and make it like the NES titles, complete with insane difficulty. Megaman 9 is hard, but that might be because I am not as experienced at it as I am the rest. It also goes too far back by removing the charge shot and slide, Rush is still there though.

That all said, this is one of the best games in the classic series. It is the perfect difficulty you have come to expect from these games, the gameplay is as solid as ever, and after so many years, the formula is as strong as ever. If you are only going to play one 8-Bit official title, this one should be it. Not my favorite, but its the most polished without being too easy.
