So... spoilers: I don't win the fight and this, again, is not the final episode. Only about 3 minutes were cut from this part, by the way. I think after not ever really learning anything during the Protoman fight, I was too worn out to react well to anything. Plus I think I recorded my Network Transmission content last on Saturday morning, so I'd already tried to fight Draegor in Parallel Worlds, explored in System Shock 2, and did a level in ZX Advent.

I think my plan for next time will actually involve the Barrier chip. I realized pretty far after recording that I have defensive options besides Recovery, and I think Barrier can block an entire hit for a pretty low memory cost. Also, I remember from when I was looking up the requirements for Bass that somebody recommended the ColorMan Chip. It is a Navi which deals at least 100 damage...
