About the app:
A comprehensive set of educational mini-games, puzzles and brain teasers for kids 3 to 12.
The activities are aimed to develop a broad range of skills: attention/concentration, speed and response, puzzles/brain teasers, memory, early math, spatial perception, logic, visual intelligence, time management, money management and more.
The app can be used in two modes:
- linear mode (in 20 minute/10 games daily sets) where the level of difficulty is adjusted automatically with child's progress
- free mode in which where parent/teacher chooses games or activities suitable for the child
The app also features sets of physical (body) exercises with animated guides showing how to perform each exercise or pose.
What we liked: the concept. Excellent set of engaging brain teasers/puzzles and educational activities (over 100 activities in total) covering broad range of skills. Narration and spoken instructions. Up to 3 child accounts with progress tracking. Reward system with coins and accessories for your character. The supplementary body exercises section. One subscription lets you use MentalUP across multiple devices/platform. No ads or other distracting features. Overall quality of the app.
