The new Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S 4MATIC+ #coupé is the perfect basis, which the engineers and designers of #brabus (Brabus-Allee, D-46240 Bottrop, phone + 49 / (0) 2041 / 777-0, fax + 49 / (0) 2041 / 777 111, Internet www.brabus.com) turn into a high-performance #SUV #coupé in a class of its own.
The #brabus800 #SUV #coupé is powered by a twin-turbo, eight-cylinder engine that produces 588 kW / 800 hp (789 bhp) and a peak torque of 1,000 Nm (737 lb- ft). As a result, the supercar rockets from rest to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.4 seconds and on to an electronically limited top speed of 280 km/h (174 mph). Exposed-carbon aerodynamic-enhancement components with sporty and elegant styling in concert with tailor-made #brabus wheels including king-sized 24 inches in diameter give the all-wheel fastback a particularly exclusive appearance.
BRABUS fine leather appointments in any desired color and in many different designs are available to customize the interior.
The twin-turbo, four-liter V8 of the current Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S 4MATIC+ #coupé puts out 450 kW / 612 hp (603 bhp) ex-factory and is thus the perfect starting point for a #brabus supercar in a class of its own. The powerplant engineers and technicians of the world’s largest independent #automotive refinement specialist brought their expertise from more than four decades of tuning to bear to develop a performance upgrade that unleashes an extra 138 kW / 188 hp (185 bhp) and bumps peak torque by 150 Nm (111 lb-ft). It goes without saying that the #brabus tuning harmonizes perfectly with the integrated mild-hybrid starter generator of the GLE 63 S.
In order to achieve a peak output of 588 kW / 800 hp (789 bhp) at 5,900 rpm and a peak torque of 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft) at a low 3,500 rpm, special turbos with larger compressor unit, modified core assembly and reinforced axial bearings replace the two production turbos. They produce a maximum boost pressure of 1.6 bar.
