In this episode…Mattias Nisson has been lured to Venezuela by his mercenary acquaintance, Blanco, to meet with Ramon Solano about a job. Solano hires Mattias to rescue General Carlos Carmona who is being held captive by a small outfit of his former troops who are still loyal to the current government. After being rescued, Solano, Blanco, and Carmona turn on Mattias who is able to escape Solano's villa with only a small wound in the rear. Solano then goes on to complete the military coup and becomes the dictator of Venezuela and uses his power to seize control of the Venezuelan oil supply. Mattias returns to Solano's villa and claims it as the new mercenary HQ.

GAME DESCRIPTION
Mercenaries 2: World in Flames is an action-adventure video game developed by Pandemic Studios and published by Electronic Arts for PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. It is the sequel to 2005's Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction. The game is a third-person shooter with an open world, set in a fictionalized war-torn Venezuela, the game's primary objective is to kill the President of Venezuela whose betrayal of the protagonist mercenary acted as a stepping stone to his current position.
