Very proud of this run, every time I think I've gotten out of this category it keeps pulling me back in. Can't say I'm done yet either with how bad my spy contract was. I'll also say that most of my splits have at least a few seconds of gold potential left, I kept finding myself typing that in the full recap

Before I get into the full recap I’ll go over the stats- This took 13 attempts with a final attempt counter of 113, my new sum of best is a 51:49 (manually added this up), and my playtime is 47:00:55 so this took about 4 hours of attempts to get.

The damn unlimited ammo cheat only works about 50% of the time here. Next time I’m not gonna bother putting it in until after Ante Up. I wanted to do Escar's strat of flinging back to the HQ but muscle memory kicked in

I finally got a new gold in this split! I’ve been struggling quite a bit in this split lately. I figured out I was screwing around too much trying to get a good angle for my flings between the 9 and the 7. I can’t call this an S when the fling from the 7 to the 10 went as poorly as it did unfortunately. Still a solid 20 or 25 seconds of gold potential here

8, 6, 5 of clubs

Came within a second of a gold, basically a gold. And I got a hole in one on the 6 of clubs!! A second or two might be shaved off of here but I’m gonna call this an S with that hole in one

MASH to SK HQ

This is about average. I’d say I get the double here somewhere between 33% and 50% of the time. Did well with the 2 singles

Stem the Tide

The execution here is great, but I just didn’t get the dialogue skip. That would have turned this into a new gold and an S tier I think – My new dialogue skip strat is a bust, it hasn’t worked in the last couple attempts

A Proper Function of Government

Easily the worst part of the run. Lots of small mistakes on my part but the big timeloss was my fling to take me across the river failing me for the second WR run in a row

A Farewell to Kings

Suboptimal fling and a bonk cost me the gold but everything after getting into Inchon is textbook. I keep forgetting to go for the card load animation skip

SK HQ to AN HQ

Changed my strategy for driving in this run, I’m doing a lot more speedbursts now. For a while I thought letting the effects of the speedburst completely dissipate before doing another was the most efficient way to drive. Now I don’t think that’s true. I do think this would have been a gold but I made a mistake by doing a speedburst near another car and bonked because of it

The Guns of Kirin-Do

I think I called in the baggage carrier from a bad angle so it took longer than usual for it to drop. Overall the execution wasn’t bad but I had a lot of small mistakes that ended up losing these 20 seconds

Okay, I think the same day delivery trick does make a difference here. I didn’t get a great fling to the 7 but I still got a gold.

Great split, good improvement on the gold. Borderline S

5, 9, 3 of hearts

Only my second time doing this split this way, not a great fling from the 5 to the 9 and I overshot the HQ on the final fling. Borderline B tier I think, but still a good split.

Manipulate the Data

Beat Escar's gold! This strat is risky though, you lose your baggage carrier flinging out of the SK base about 50% of the time. I might change that part of this route if I ever run this again

Exit Strategy

While this is very little time lost, this is one of the easiest and most consistent splits in the game now. Losing 15 seconds is pretty bad. My heart rate felt like it was over 150 around this part of the run

Chain Reaction

Unlucky fling lost me some time, but S execution kept me from losing more time. Best driving in the whole run in this split. I also spent a good 10 seconds setting up the journalist to sate my superstitious tendencies.

The Ace of Spades

I forgot to do Escar’s strat to instafail the Chinese mission and I didn’t call in the baggage carrier right. It was an excellent fling though, landing very close to the guard and Garrett.
