4Merlin Game Boy Color speedrun in 15:32
A pretty solid game only released in Europe. Each world has 2 platforming stages, an auto-scroller stage and a boss stage. Having the full spell meter destroys all bosses quickly. I took 2 hits this run, so I had to refill my meter again, which loses time due to the animation of powering up. The 2nd time I found an unexpected invisible full upgrade to fill my meter completely, which saved the run, and I took 2 safety full charges (holding B) which gives you I-frames for a bit in the final auto-scroller. Played on Pro difficulty which skips the password cutscene at the end of levels.
