Well, no battle against the Hyphy Movement, the San Francisco Bay Area residents who prove that it doesn't deserve to be called the "Yay Area", the shallow girls who would say "wanna suck my pee" just to mock me, and the Oakland rioters. This time, I am getting sick of the "Meta Knight is broken" camp. Apparently, all you need to have skill in Brawl is play Meta Knight. And Heaven forbid if you play Captain Falcon.

Well, this is still kind of rushed. Ephraim225 says we desynced around 2:13, shortly before he died the second time. It would explain his lack of recovery then, and the subsequent suicide. Still, this should tell people that Meta Knight can't win on predictability and certainly isn't an automatic win. He relies on comboes and keeping his opponent off balance to have any decent damage input; without any of that, he has to put up with low weight, awful damage input with individual attacks, and a lack of projectiles, which makes attrition warfare out of the question. Okay, he also has stupidly high priority that outprioritizes Bowser's Down B for no reason whatsoever, but it's not like priority will determine matches as long as it makes sense. I figured Pit's arrows to have low priority and that's why Meta Knight's drill breaks through them--but oh right, you're too busy being stunned to pull off attacks that don't have low enough startup time (which if they do their own priority is bound to be equally horrible) if he's barraging you. I tested this as Ness with Ephraim225 (as Pit) a few days ago......turns out you can fight the arrows without outprioritizing them or relying on something like the PSI Magnet.......except the movements to do so are still going to be predictable unless you can scare him out of using the arrows--good luck with that. (And in case you're wondering, Ephraim actually did solid about managing the arrow abuse. I instructed him to do what arrow abusers will do, namely get out of arrow spam mode if I get close. He actually took it up an extra step or two with things like close range shots to mess up my attacks and take a nasty bite out of my already meager offense.)
