Now with the Metal Gear Solid legacy collection out it's time to cover the long awaited sequel to the PS1 master piece. Unfortunately Metal Gear Solid 2 is easily the most misunderstood game in the series due to a combination of false advertising and timing around when the game came out. For me Metal Gear Solid 2's meaning has been unknown for years but thanks to this recent playthrough (and the ability to pause cutscenes in post) I finally understand and appreciate what this game was trying to say. What was it saying well your going to have to watch the actual retrospective I made on Metal Gear Solid 2 to find out.
