Metal Gear Solid 2 Unreleased Codec Music - Rose's Deception
This isn't perfect but it's a somewhat clean version of the codec music that plays towards the end of the plant chapter of MGS2 when Rose and Raiden/Jack have a conversation and Jack finds out Rose has deceived him... the A.I rose that is.
The codec music to this day remains largely unreleased and this isn't an isolated issue with Metal Gear Solid 2 specifically. Metal Gear Solid on the PlayStation/PC also featured unique codec music found only on the various codec conversations throughout the game. I find it quite saddening that none of these beautiful motifs were ever released and it seems a lot of the time when it comes to soundtrack releases, cutscene music or unique music like this that doesn't play in game, is largely ignored and forgoer in favour of gameplay music.
I have a sneaking feeling this was composed by the wonderful and underrated for his work on Metal Gear Solid 2, Norihiko Hibino, vgm composer and saxophonist.
Perhaps if enough people got in touch with him and he himself owns the music for the work he did for the game, he might consider releasing it as he speaks some english.

RedCode Interactive were successful in getting one of many MGS composers, cutscene composer Gigi Meroni to release his music after 20 years so nothing is impossible.
