This codec conversation is mostly the same, with the exception that Snake's smiling\laugh animation lasts longer (visible at 06:34), probably an oversight.

Despite the Trial Version ending right after Decoy Octopus' death, for some reason this stage and some other variants of the Tank Hangar, are still on the disc.
The most interesting part about it is that unlike the one used in the first visit (s02a), this one uses some older assets, notably the floor indicator is red\orange instead of being cyan.

If you trip the sensors and you didn't answer to Meryl's codec call yet, the codec becomes usable again once you respond to Meryl's call, this bug was fixed in the final version of the game.
