Metal Slug Mobile Impact is run-n-gun game made by SNK Playmore for various cellphone models.

It was published by Digital Bridges Ltd. under the trade mark I-Play in 2005.

The mobile game was roughly based on the first three entries of the original arcade series.

The versions released for the J2ME platform offer stripped down visual and sound experience with regards to the BREW version and vary in regards to the intended screen size (128x128, 132x176, 176x208 and 240x320) as well as the supported sound scheme (MIDI music and wav sfx for explosion and pickup action, or OTT beeps for explosions and pickups and menu music).

The versions released for the BREW phones (those I have were released for Samsung SCH-U420 and LG mx500; the game was most likely sold for other phones with the screen size of 176x208 as well) feature scrolling graphics in the menu, better music score and sfx (many actions have their proper sounds from the original series of games), improved animations in-game and in the menu.

The version for the BREW phones is played on Siemens SG75 phone.

The version for J2ME, provided by Kahvibreak project (https://bluemaxima.org/kahvibreak/), is played on Sharp 007sh Android-based flip-phone using J2ME Loader (https://github.com/nikita36078/J2ME-Loader).
