Metal Slug playthrough (SEGA Saturn) (1CC)
84The Saturn port of Metal Slug was only released in Japan, and requires the 1-meg ram cartridge to run. Whilst it features more animation than the Playstation port, and no mid-level loading, it also slows down a lot, especially in 2 player mode.
Worse yet, there seems to be a bug with the tank. Later on in the game, the tank will get stuck in its firing animation when firing a shell off. It will revert eventually, but this problem means you can't fire as fast as you want to. To fix it faster, I have to duck and throw some grenades out.
I thought maybe my Saturn or RAM cart was faulty, but I've tried 2 different copies of the game on 2 different Saturn consoles, using multiple different RAM carts (a 4 meg cart was used for this playthrough, for those interested) but the bug was always happening.
