I recorded this video using camstudio and Kawaks.
No emulator save were used during a level, although I have used emulator saves between levels to record them.


Okay, now the game gets FREAKIN' HARD !

First, keep in mind that you will need AT LEAST 30 bombs for the final boss. It doesn't mean you can't use any during the level (you definitely should use as many as you need), but try not to use too many when another weapon is just as effective.


First Section : Outside the base

- Right at the begging, you are going to die A LOT ! The soldiers will throw those annoying pink rockets. The only way I found to avoid them is to jump right in front of that barricade of sand bags and crouch. Look at the video. You will need to practice to find the right timing. Watch the video carefully.

- Right before the bridge, there is a hidden POW who drops explosive lizards.

- That bridge is just as dangerous as it looks awesome. Most of the soldiers here will throw small rolling bombs that might be hidden by the bridge's movements. Keep firing those explosive lizards to kill them. Also try to jump on the missiles. As long as you don't touch the tip, they won't harm you.

- Allen O'Neil can be a pain to fight. Right before he's finished laughing, throw some bombs at him.
Always stay on top of the platforms, O'Neil won't usually stay on the same level as you. Try to stay right above him as he will never shoot or throw grenades vertically. He can only shoot you diagonally, so be careful where you are.
Watch the soldiers, they will throw grenades that might kill you if you are too focused on O'Neil.
Sometimes, he will go near you and try to stab you, jump and get out of his reach.
When he is dead, pick up the machine gun.


Second Section : Inside the base

- Don't hesitate to use your bombs when there are a lot of ennemies.

- Don't hesitate to use your weapons to destroy those annoying orange bullets that the martians fire. If too many of these things are on screen, you are screwed...

- I don't really have any more advice for that section. You are pretty much gonna need to memorize the position of every ennemy and kill them before they have the time to do anything. Watch the video and practice, practice, practice...
