In this tutorial, the methodology for developing ER Diagram has been discussed with an example. In this tutorial, we have done the fifth and the sixth steps of developing an ERD, that is defining primary keys (PKs) and drawing key-based ERDs from the given case study. I have also discussed why many-to-many relationships are bad for ER Diagram specially when we convert our ERD to Relational Database and how to remove many-to-many relationships from ERD.
