Methods in Telemetry and Research at Volition - #GamesUR US Conference 2016
Sometimes data alone isn’t enough to tell a story about our users. Then again, sometimes traditional observational methods of user research don’t give us the granularity we desire. In many cases, a mixed-methods approach combining telemetry and traditional research methods is necessary to get at the meat of a usability issue. This talk will discuss in detail some of the telemetry hooks we use at Volition, and how our data-driven approach informs our user research.
