The Armory station is the one of the last stations you will be able to make ammo trades for some time (the last one is Polis). By now, you should have collected a large cache of ammunition (used and unused) to trade with. You'll need it because you will have to upgrade your weapons significantly for the next portion of the game.

There are no moral awards in this level but there is match grade ammunition to be found for the achievement Sherlock; this is also the last station with the ammunition that counts for the achievement. If you collect all the bullets here and don't have the achievement unlocked, you missed something in the earlier stations (Exhibition, Riga, or Market).

The first two match grade ammo pick-ups can be missed if you proceed too deep into the station, as you cannot visit the initial area after the Russian police chase.

Sherlock (37/41) is hidden behind some crates by the train tracks, around the time you hear the interrogation start up (as evidenced by the subtitles). The second pick-up, Sherlock (38/41), is on a wood box in the shuttered stalls; get these two before you wander into the interrogation room, or you won't be able to pick them up.

If you're wondering what the interrogation room is, it's the illustration above. Once you go in, you escape and become a fugitive.

Follow the other escapee and try to anticipate his movements; the Fugitive achievement is to make it to the end of the chase scene without being shot to death by the Communist Russian police.

Shortly after ducking the barrage of gunfire at the bar, you will make a few quick turns before the other guy is caught and shot to death. At that spot, head upstairs and keep going forward. A cut-scene will occur and Khan's buddy Smith will snatch Artyom before he's shipped off to the Siberian gulag.

Smith will brief you on the next mission (Frontline -- not the PBS program) and tell you about depradations worse than the mutants (i.e., hardline Communism, National Socialism, etc.). When you can move around again, you can resume your exploration of Armory Station, except you will notice you cannot go back to the platform where you entered the station.

Outside of Smith's residence, turn right for some military ammo, or Sherlock (39/41), in the window of Armory's shackville.

Head back out from Smith's residence towards the commons. You will pass by the area you may dimly recognize from the chase; some match grade ammo, Sherlock (40/41), will be on the corner of a wood container. This is past the stairs you took to avoid impending death, and before the (now) sealed area where the bar was.

The final pick-up, Sherlock (41/41), can only be made when you are ready to leave the map; it's behind the right support of the ladder in the repair pit. Simply grab it before you opt to use the ladder to climb into the railcar to exit.

Before you go and grab the final military pre-Blast ammo pick-up, it will be beneficial to you to do some shopping. Besides the exchange shops, there are also two suit vendors who will sell you the Armored and Sneaking Suits.

While you can muscle through the next few missions using the armored suit (note that it reduces your stealth rating), IGN will be going with the Sneaking Suit so we can show you how to fulfill some other achievements for Front Line, Depot, and Black Station.

Something you absolutely must buy though, is the VSV with Optics. It doesn't matter if you have a Revolver with Optics and Silencer (and everything else), a Tihar with Optics, or even a Helsing with Optics; the VSV with Optics is a must-buy because it has a load of ammunition, fires silently, and it can zoom. Additionally, it can fire military ammo; something you may want for the Raider achievement.
